Instructions

  1. Whisk marinade ingredients together, then arrange salmon or tuna in a shallow dish or bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning frequently.

  2. Remove fish from the marinade. Pour the marinade into a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes; reserve for basting.

  3. If grilling, preheat the grill. Place fish on an oiled grill over medium coals and cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side, basting with the boiled marinade, until nicely grilled (tuna remains pink in the center, salmon flakes easily).

  4. If baking, preheat the oven to 450 F. Place fish (salmon skin-side down) in a non-stick pan. Bake salmon for 12 to 15 minutes or tuna for 8 to 12 minutes, until cooked through (salmon flakes easily, tuna remains pink in the center).

  5. Serve the prepared fish with your favorite sides.
