Grilled Okra

Instructions

  1. Heat a gas or charcoal grill to high.

  2. Trim okra stems, then toss pods with oil to coat.

  3. Arrange okra on the grill, ensuring smaller pieces won't fall through the grates.

  4. Grill covered for about 4 minutes until the color deepens and grill marks appear.

  5. Flip the okra, cover, and grill for another 4 minutes until tender and charred.

  6. Remove from grill, season with salt, and spritz with lemon juice if desired.
