Grilled Maple-Bourbon Chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  2. Combine herbs, bourbon, soy sauce, water, maple syrup, and olive oil in a bowl, then divide the mixture in half.

  3. Coat chicken breasts with one half of the mixture and marinate for 2 to 3 hours, then discard the marinade.

  4. Simmer the remaining half of the mixture in a saucepan over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; reheat before serving if needed.

  5. Grill chicken for 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.

  6. Remove chicken from heat and serve with the warmed sauce.
