Grilled Jumbo Shrimp With Lemon-Herb Marinade

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high.

Peel and devein shrimp; blot dry and place in a resealable bag.

Combine oil, cilantro, lemon juice, shallot, garlic, basil, salt, and white pepper for the marinade.

Pour marinade over shrimp, seal bag, and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes; do not exceed this time to prevent softening.

Thoroughly oil grill grates just before cooking.

Discard marinade and grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and firm.

Serve immediately, optionally garnished with cilantro or basil.
