Grilled Hawaiian Pork Chops
Grilled pork chops are elevated by the addition of sweet grilled pineapple, creating a distinctly flavorful meal.

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high (400-425 F).

Combine reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, vegetable oil, onion, garlic, and brown sugar to create the marinade.

Marinate pork chops and pineapple slices in the mixture for 2 hours.

Remove pork and pineapple from marinade. Bring the remaining marinade to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.

Oil grill grates. Grill pork chops for about 12 minutes, turning and basting, until an internal temperature of 145 F is reached.

During the final minutes of pork cooking, grill pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Remove pork and pineapple from the grill. Rest the pork for 5 minutes, then serve topped with grilled pineapple and the reserved marinade.
