Grilled Hamburger Steaks and Onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet, then cook onions with salt and pepper for 3 minutes on high heat.

  3. Add beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, wine, and chili pepper; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 8 minutes. Set aside.

  4. Combine ground beef with salt, onion powder, chili powder, oregano, and black pepper, then form into 4 to 5 oblong patties.

  5. Place patties on the preheated grill and cook for 7 to 8 minutes per side.

  6. Remove patties from the grill once they reach an internal temperature of 160 F/72 C, then top with the prepared onions and serve.
