Instructions

  1. Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic, and Tabasco in a resealable bag; add chicken, coat well, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

  2. Transfer chicken to a plate, then boil the remaining marinade in a saucepan over high heat and set aside.

  3. Preheat grill to 350-375 F.

  4. Sear chicken over direct heat for 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Shift chicken to indirect heat; cook for 35-55 minutes, turning often and basting with the boiled marinade, until fork-tender and internal temperature reaches 165 F.
