Grilled Buffalo Steak

Instructions

  1. Place steaks in a resealable bag; combine remaining marinade ingredients, pour over steaks, and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours.

  2. Preheat grill to medium heat.

  3. Remove steaks from marinade; grill for 6 minutes per side.

  4. Remove steaks from grill, tent with aluminum foil, and rest for 10 minutes.

  5. For the onion sauce, heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook onions on high for 1 minute.

  6. Add red wine; reduce heat to medium and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients; cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes, adjusting heat as necessary.

  8. Remove sauce from heat and serve on top of the buffalo steaks.
