Green Tea Nokcha Cake

A subtly sweet green tea cake, flavored with matcha, can be customized with additional sugar or cream cheese frosting.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and oil until light and fluffy, then stir in Greek yogurt.

  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and green tea powder.

  4. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture to form batter.

  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. If frosting, cool the cake completely before applying.
