Green Popcorn

A festive green popcorn snack is ideal for St. Patrick's Day celebrations or any fun occasion.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, then stir in sugar and corn syrup.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.

  4. Stir in salt and baking soda; once bubbling subsides, add green food coloring.

  5. Add 4-5 drops of food coloring, stirring until desired green shade is achieved.

  6. Place popcorn in a large bowl, pour green caramel syrup over it, and toss to coat evenly.

  7. Spread the coated popcorn in an even layer across two Silpat-lined jelly roll pans.

  8. Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
