Greek Yogurt-Cucumber Sauce - German Tsatsiki

Instructions

  1. If not using Greek yogurt, drain plain yogurt in a paper towel-lined colander for at least 15 minutes.

  2. Shred half a cucumber, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt, let sit for 15 minutes, then press out excess liquid.

  3. Combine the drained yogurt, pressed cucumber, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 2 teaspoons olive oil in a small bowl.

  4. Refrigerate until serving; optionally garnish with fresh dill or a drizzle of olive oil.
