Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare two 8-inch cake pans by lining with parchment and greasing.

  2. Sift flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a mixer bowl, then whisk.

  3. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla; mix on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl.

  4. Stir in boiling water for 1 minute until combined.

  5. Fold in the vinegar.

  6. Divide batter between the prepared pans.

  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center is clean.
