Ginger and Garlic Chicken Wings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Combine soy sauce, mirin, peeled grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the marinade.

  3. If using whole wings, separate them into drumettes and wingettes, discarding the tips.

  4. Place chicken in a sealed container with the marinade, toss to coat, and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning occasionally.

  5. Line a baking dish with foil, spray with cooking oil, and arrange the marinated chicken.

  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until dark and browned.

  7. Optional: For basting, boil any remaining marinade and brush onto the chicken during baking.

  8. Plate and garnish with roasted white sesame seeds.
