Instructions

  1. If needed, debone a pork shoulder roast and slice it into 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick steaks.

  2. Combine oil, garlic, mustard, and spices in a large bowl.

  3. Add steaks and onions, then coat thoroughly.

  4. Layer the meat and onions in the bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 8-24 hours, mixing occasionally.

  5. Grill steaks (without onions) over direct heat for 8-10 minutes per side, salting lightly.
