  4. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, adjusting consistency with water.

  5. Remove the bay leaf; blend the sauce until smooth or leave chunky, then keep it warm.

  6. Grill sausage links until thoroughly cooked.

  7. Slice the grilled sausages into 1-inch pieces, or prepare them using an alternative method like diagonal scoring before grilling.

  8. Serve the prepared sausage with the warm curry sauce.
