Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Break broccoli into florets and slice stalks into rounds.

  3. Combine broccoli, red peppers (if using), olive oil, garlic, and salt on a rimmed baking sheet; toss to coat and arrange in a single layer.

  4. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once or twice, until crisp-tender and caramelized.
