Garlic Lemon Shrimp With Pasta

Start boiling a large pot of salted water for pasta; cook until al dente, reserving 1/3 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta cooks, heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper.

Cook shrimp for 2 minutes, flip, then add 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes; stir for 1-2 minutes.

Stir in lemon zest and white wine; reduce slightly, then stir in lemon juice.

Transfer reserved pasta water to a large serving bowl. Add drained pasta, then pour shrimp and sauce over it.

Toss with Parmesan and pine nuts, if using.

Serve with an olive oil drizzle and extra red pepper flakes, if desired.
