Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Sauté onion, garlic, red pepper, and cilantro until vegetables soften and become fragrant.

  3. Stir in cumin and salsa lizano (or Worcestershire) and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add beans with their liquid, cooking for 1 minute.

  5. Incorporate rice, stirring until thoroughly mixed with no clumps.

  6. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through.

  7. Season with salt, pepper, and additional salsa lizano (or Worcestershire) to taste.

  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
