Funfetti Cake Bars With Chocolate Glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Cream butter and granulated sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla.

  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated.

  5. Fold in 3/4 of the rainbow sprinkles.

  6. Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan.

  7. Pour batter into the pan, top with remaining sprinkles, and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Allow bars to cool before cutting.

  9. Melt chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl for 30 to 60 seconds.

  10. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled bars.
