Instructions

  1. Melt butter using a microwave or stovetop.

  2. Sift flour, sugar, and salt into a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs until thick, then mix in milk and the melted butter.

  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and beat until the batter is smooth.

  5. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, melt a small amount of butter, then ladle batter into the pan and cook until lightly browned on both sides.

  6. Transfer cooked frixuelos to a warm plate, add your desired filling, roll them up, and garnish with orange slices.
