Fried Peppers With Garlic

Instructions

  1. Rinse peppers, remove stems, halve, and discard seeds and veins.

  2. Cut pepper flesh into 1 1/2-inch pieces.

  3. Peel and mince all garlic cloves.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

  5. Add peppers and garlic to the hot oil, stirring often until peppers soften.

  6. Salt peppers to taste, then transfer to a serving dish.

  7. Serve hot, warm, or cold, optionally on crusty bread as a tapa.
