Fresh Peach Crumble

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 F and butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

Prepare an ice bath and bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil peaches for 10-20 seconds until skin splits, then transfer them to the ice bath.

Peel, pit, and thinly slice the peaches.

Combine sliced peaches and brown sugar; pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix flour, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon.

Whisk an egg and add it to the dry ingredients, stirring until a crumbly mixture forms.

Evenly sprinkle the crumb mixture over the peach filling.

Drizzle melted butter over the crumb topping.
