Fresh Cherry Crumble

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Lightly spray or butter 4 (7-8 oz) or 5-6 (5-6 oz) ramekins.

  3. Combine cherries, water, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring often.

  4. While the cherry mixture simmers, combine topping ingredients in a bowl.

  5. Divide cherry mixture among ramekins, then sprinkle topping evenly over each.

  6. Bake ramekins on a baking sheet for 25 to 30 minutes, or until browned and bubbly.
