Preheat a waffle iron to medium heat.

With a mixer on medium-high speed, cream butter, brown sugar, eggs, and extracts until fluffy.

Reduce speed and mix in dry ingredients until the dough is fully combined; cover and chill for 1 hour.

Drop 1-inch dough balls onto the hot waffle iron and cook each for approximately 45 seconds until golden brown, or until the appliance signals doneness.

Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
