Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F.

  2. Secure the ham with kitchen twine, wrapping vertically and diagonally, then place it cut-side down in a deep roasting pan.

  3. Dissolve dry mustard in water, then mix with brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice to create the glaze.

  4. Brush the glaze over the ham.

  5. Arrange apples and pears around the ham.

  6. Bake uncovered for 1 hour 40 minutes, basting ham and fruit every 20 minutes, covering with foil if browning too quickly.

  7. Cool slightly, then remove twine and serve warm or at room temperature.
