Freeze Ahead Tuna Sandwiches

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and whipped salad dressing until smooth.

  2. Stir in drained tuna, onions, carrot, and lemon juice.

  3. Refrigerate the mixture for up to three days, if desired.

  4. Butter bread slices, then spread tuna filling on half of them; assemble sandwiches.

  5. Wrap each sandwich in freezer wrap, place in a gallon freezer bag, label, and freeze.

  6. Thaw sandwiches overnight in the refrigerator or pack frozen in an insulated lunch box.

  7. Eat thawed sandwiches within two hours.
