Fondue Savoyarde

Instructions

Thoroughly rub the inside of a saucepan with garlic, then discard.

Whisk wine and cornstarch, add to the saucepan, and bring to a gentle boil before reducing heat to a simmer.

Add cheeses, nutmeg, black pepper, and paprika, stirring constantly until melted and smooth; lower heat if cheese sticks.

Continue cooking the fondue for 15 minutes over low-medium heat until thickened, ensuring it does not boil.

Stir in Kirsch and cook for one additional minute.

Pour fondue into a heated fondue pot and serve with cubed bread.
