Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Place torn pita bread on a baking sheet and toast for 5 minutes; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine lettuce, toasted pita, cucumber, tomatoes, green peppers, onion, parsley, and mint.

Whisk together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Pour the dressing over the salad, garnish with sumac, and serve.
