Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, pork, milk, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, ketchup, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

  2. Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then brown the meatballs on all sides until firm.

  4. Add beef broth, cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 45 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.

  5. Remove meatballs to a warm bowl, keeping them warm.

  6. For the gravy, whisk flour and water in a small bowl, then add this mixture to the pan drippings and stir constantly until thickened.

  7. Serve the meatballs with the prepared gravy.
