Ensalada Verde (Simple Green Salad) Recipe
A simple Spanish green salad, or ensalada verde, is lightly dressed with extra-virgin olive oil and red-wine vinegar.

Instructions

Rinse, drain, and tear lettuce into a large salad bowl.

Cut tomatoes into eighths and thinly slice a quarter of a red onion.

Place cut tomatoes and onion on top of the lettuce.

Whisk oil and vinegar together for the dressing.

Just before serving, pour dressing over salad, toss, and season with salt.
