Instructions

  1. Prepare a medium (350-375°F) grill.

  2. Combine yogurt, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, black pepper, curry, turmeric, mustard, and cardamom in a large bowl.

  3. Add cubed chicken to the mixture, toss to coat, then cover and refrigerate for 1 to 4 hours.

  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, alternating with onion pieces, using about 5 chicken pieces per skewer.

  5. Grill kebabs for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.

  6. Serve the kebabs garnished with tomato slices, green pepper rings, and fresh mint or parsley.
