Egg Custard Bread Pudding

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 F.

Whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl, then stir in warm milk.

Cut bread into triangles and arrange two layers in a lightly buttered 8-inch square baking dish.

Pour the custard mixture over the bread.

Place the smaller baking dish into a larger dish containing 1/2 to 1 inch of hot water.
