Edamame Mixed Rice (Maze Gohan) Recipe
Japanese maze gohan is a simple brown rice dish incorporating edamame, seasoned mushrooms, and seaweed.

Start boiling water for edamame.

Wash brown rice thoroughly, then soak for 30 minutes before cooking it in a rice cooker.

While rice cooks, boil shelled edamame for 5 minutes, then drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

After rice finishes, let it rest for 15 minutes, then transfer to a large serving dish.

Gently mix wakame-chazuke furikake seasoning and bottled seasoned mushrooms into the rice.

Add the cooked edamame and serve immediately.
