Edamame Mixed Rice (Maze Gohan) Recipe

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water for edamame.

  2. Wash brown rice thoroughly, then soak for 30 minutes before cooking it in a rice cooker.

  3. While rice cooks, boil shelled edamame for 5 minutes, then drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

  4. After rice finishes, let it rest for 15 minutes, then transfer to a large serving dish.

  5. Gently mix wakame-chazuke furikake seasoning and bottled seasoned mushrooms into the rice.

  6. Add the cooked edamame and serve immediately.
