Easy Taco Soup With Ground Beef

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in oil in a large pot over medium heat until no longer pink.

  2. Add onion, pinto beans, corn, canned tomatoes, taco seasoning, ranch dressing, and water or beef stock to the beef mixture.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.

  4. Concurrently, heat oil in a skillet, cut tortillas into 1/4-inch strips, and fry until golden; transfer to paper towels.

  5. Serve the soup topped with fried tortilla strips, optionally with salad and cornbread.
