Easy Spanish Churros
Churros are Spanish fried dough sticks, easily made at home and served with sugar or honey.

Instructions

Heat 2 inches of oil in a large frying pan to 350-375 F.

In a saucepan, combine water, vegetable oil, salt, and sugar; bring to a boil.

Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl.

Slowly pour the boiling water mixture into the flour, stirring constantly until a smooth dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a churrera or pastry bag.

Carefully squeeze the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

Remove churros, drain on paper towels, and cut into desired lengths.

Sprinkle with sugar or drizzle with honey, then serve immediately.
