Easy Slow Cooker Chicken and Asparagus

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breast chunks in the slow cooker.

  2. Combine chicken stock, cream of onion soup, tarragon, and lemon pepper seasoning; pour over the chicken.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until chicken is tender, then season with salt and pepper as needed.

  4. Add 1-inch pieces of asparagus to the chicken.

  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth.

  6. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker.

  7. Increase slow cooker heat to high and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and the sauce thickens.

  8. Serve hot with noodles or rice, optionally garnished with toasted almonds, breadcrumbs, or Parmesan cheese.
