Easy Skillet Green Beans and Bacon
An easy skillet side dish, these tender green beans are enhanced by crispy bacon, perfect for any meal.

Instructions

Start boiling a pot of salted water.

Trim green beans and cut them into 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.

In a large skillet, fry diced bacon until crispy.

Remove bacon to drain, leaving 2 to 3 tablespoons of drippings in the skillet.

Add green beans to the boiling water and cook for 8 to 12 minutes until desired doneness.

Drain the beans, then add them to the skillet with the bacon drippings.

Stir in the cooked bacon and butter, heating until the beans are thoroughly coated and hot.

Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
