Easy Sautéed Mixed Greens Recipe

Instructions

  1. Rinse and thoroughly dry the greens.

  2. Remove thick stems from kale or chard; coarsely chop greens into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Stir in onions or shallots and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until softened.

  5. Add kale or chard and cook until wilted and tender (6 to 8 minutes for kale, less for chard).

  6. Incorporate spinach and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until wilted but still bright green.

  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper; serve immediately.
