Easy Sausage Bake With Sauerkraut and Apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large ovenproof pan over medium heat.

  3. Sauté onion and sliced sausages for 5 to 7 minutes until the onion is golden and the sausage is lightly browned.

  4. Add apples and sauté for 1 minute.

  5. Stir in apple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, sauerkraut, pepper, and caraway seeds if desired.

  6. Cover the pan and bake for 1 hour.
