Easy Orange Liqueur Cake

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a 10-inch Bundt pan by greasing, flouring, and scattering pecans in the bottom.

  2. Combine all remaining cake ingredients, then beat for 30 seconds on low speed, followed by 2 minutes on medium speed.

  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour, or until a wooden pick comes out clean.

  4. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes on a wire rack, then invert, remove, and cool completely before piercing it all over.

  5. Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in orange juice and sugar, and boil for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

  6. Remove from heat, then stir in orange zest and liqueur.

  7. Spoon the warm glaze over the cooled, pierced cake, allowing it to soak in.
