Easy, No-Fail Italian Gnocchi

Instructions

Start boiling salted water.

In a food processor, combine water, beaten egg, butter, and garlic powder at low speed.

In a separate bowl, mix potato flakes, flour, parsley, and salt.

Add the dry mixture to the food processor and blend at low speed until dough forms.

Flour hands and a work surface; knead the dough, then roll it flat.

Cut the dough into strips, roll strips into ropes, then cut ropes into bite-sized pieces.

Create ridges on each gnocchi piece using a gnocchi board or fork tines.

Boil gnocchi in salted water for 1-3 minutes until they float to the surface.

Drain with a slotted spoon and toss immediately with your preferred sauce.
