Easy Mushroom Sauce With Red Wine
A rich mushroom sauce, made with beef broth and red wine, pairs perfectly with steak or roast beef.

Instructions

In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil, then sauté mushrooms for 3-5 minutes.

Add red wine and simmer briefly.

Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes to reduce.

Whisk flour and cold water until smooth, then stir into the mushroom mixture.

Season with salt and pepper, simmer for 1 minute until thickened, adding more broth if too thick.
