Easy Mixed Berry Dessert Sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup sliced strawberries, 3/4 cup blueberries, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a saucepan.

  2. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until sugar dissolves; adjust sweetness with up to 1/4 cup additional sugar if desired, cooking until dissolved.

  3. Puree the berry mixture, return to the saucepan, and bring to a simmer, adding another 1 tablespoon lemon juice to taste if necessary.

  4. Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup sliced strawberries, and 1/4 cup blueberries, then simmer until the sauce is hot.
