Easy Maple Baked Ham

Preheat oven to 325 F.

Place the ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan and bake for 1 hour.

Pour pan juices into a small saucepan and chill in the freezer until the fat solidifies.

Glaze the ham with maple syrup, return it to the oven, and bake for 30 minutes, basting once.

Remove and discard the solidified fat from the chilled pan drippings. Whisk flour, prepared mustard, 1 cup water, and Worcestershire sauce into the drippings; set aside.

Increase oven temperature to 375 F. Baste the ham with the prepared sauce.

Bake the ham for about 15 minutes more, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140 F.

Remove the ham to a cutting board and let stand for 15 minutes before carving.

Combine any remaining pan drippings with the reserved sauce in the saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer, whisking frequently, for 3 minutes until thickened.

Serve the finished sauce alongside the carved ham.
