Easy Macaroni and Cheese
A rich and cheesy macaroni dish that satisfies both children and adults.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Boil water, cook macaroni for 5 minutes, then drain.

Combine drained macaroni and grated cheddar cheese in a 2-quart baking pan.

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to form a paste, then slowly whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute to thicken.

Pour thickened milk into the macaroni mixture and stir thoroughly. Optionally, sprinkle with toppings.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
