Easy Lamb Meatballs

Flavorful ground lamb meatballs, seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, are baked and then simmered in sauce for an easy meal.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.

  2. Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl and let sit for 20 minutes.

  3. Add the remaining lamb meatball ingredients and mix until just combined.

  4. Cook a small portion of the mixture to test seasoning; adjust as needed.

  5. Form the mixture into 24 small meatballs and place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet.

  6. Bake meatballs for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.

  7. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a large saucepan, add all sauce ingredients, and bring to a simmer.

  8. Cook covered over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, then taste and adjust seasoning.

  9. Serve hot over pasta, rice, or couscous.
