Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Rinse and pat dry salmon fillets, then place them in a lidded baking dish.

  3. In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, vinegar, honey, chili flakes, garlic, and the white parts of green onions.

  4. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring coverage. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

  5. Spoon additional sauce onto each salmon piece, then cover and bake for 20 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque.

  6. Remove from oven. Taste the sauce; adjust sweetness with honey, sourness with lime juice, or spiciness with more chili.

  7. Serve the salmon with extra sauce, garnished with the reserved green onion tops.
