Instructions

  1. If using a fondue pot, prepare it according to manufacturer's instructions; otherwise, gather ingredients for saucepan method.

  2. Warm cream in a large saucepan over medium-low heat until hot, but do not simmer.

  3. Add chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.

  4. Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla.

  5. Pour the chocolate fondue into the prepared fondue pot and set it over heat, or keep warm for serving.
