Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook onion until softened.

  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and brown thoroughly.

  4. Stir in cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and water; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.

  5. Heat taco shells on a baking sheet in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes.

  6. Arrange taco meat, shells, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and guacamole in separate dishes for self-assembly.
