Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.

  2. Combine salt and pepper, then rub onto both sides of the steaks.

  3. Oil the grill grates with a high smoke point oil.

  4. Place steaks on the grill and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side, up to 9 minutes per side for well-done, until almost preferred doneness.

  5. Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes under foil.

  6. Serve with desired sides, sauce, or butter.
